# API

|
These API .jars are from the
|
|
[Microemulator](https://github.com/tisoft/microemu) project.
|
|
They were sourced from Maven Central:
|
|
|
|
* [cldcapi11-2.0.4.jar](https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/microemu/cldcapi11/2.0.4/cldcapi11-2.0.4.jar)
|
|
* [midpapi20-2.0.4.jar](https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/microemu/midpapi20/2.0.4/midpapi20-2.0.4.jar)
|
|
|
|
These files are identical to the ones contained in the [Microemulator
|
|
release
|
|
tarball](https://sourceforge.net/projects/microemulator/files/microemulator/2.0.4/microemulator-2.0.4.zip).
|
|
|
|
The licensing of Microemulator is somewhat complex, but per my
|
|
understanding of microemulator/COPYING everything here is
|
|
redistributable under LGPL v2.1, to the extent that anything here even
|
|
meets the threshhold for copyrightability:
|
|
|
|
> Most source files in the project are available to be redistributed
|
|
> and/or modified under the terms of either the GNU Lesser General
|
|
> Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 […] we believe that in all cases,
|
|
> each file may be used under either the LGPL […]
|
|
|
|
A copy of the license is provided as COPYING.LGPL-2.1.
|
|
|
|
The corresponding source is available [from
|
|
upstream](https://github.com/barteo/microemu/tree/microemulator_2_0_4).
|
|
The source .jars on Maven Central do not actually contain the relevant
|
|
source.
