MIDlet Example

This is an example project for MIDlet development in 2026. It has been tested to work on a Linux system with the following software installed:

  • GNU Make 4.4.1
  • OpenJDK 25.0.2
  • bsdtar 3.8.9

Documentation for J2ME development

Midlet-example itself is available under CC0 or GPLv3 at your preference. The third-party/ directory contains software under various FOSS licenses. See the README.md files in the respective directories.
